Restore your ipod without updating
I know updating/restoring to something other than the latest software is possible, but you have to have been using some other tools all along to "save" the ability to load earlier versions of i OS. I bought an i Phone which included a set of native apps that I wanted, and I want to keep them.
It will only work for any firmware versions which Apple is approving (signing SHSH blobs).

The following guide shows a simple solution to back up and restore selected i OS apps and app preferences on any i Phone, i Pad and i Pod Touch.
The app backup and restore works without i Tunes or i Cloud and is done with Copy Trans Shelbee and Copy Trans Apps.
